The Forgotten Coast Plein Air Event 10th Anniversary 2015

This year's Forgotten Coast Plein Air Event was over the top.  Just when I think it can't get any better, the organizers, Joe Taylor and Staff, pull the celebratory 10th anniversary event over the top.  Here's a little study that reminds me of one of my favorite spots to paint in Apalachicola, Florida, during the Forgotten Coast Plein Air Event.

Nothing speaks to a painter more than scenes like this in Italy.  Capturing the effect of light with paint is an exciting challenge for the painter.
