White Orchids and Blue Willow

I have several orchid plants and it is so exciting when those gorgeous blooms burst forth from their little green pods. The white phalaenopsis orchids are a challenge to paint. They are delicately luminous and white, yet they reflect colors and have subtle shadows. The Blue Willow cup is from my mother's collection. It is extremely thin porcelain and very old.
