These three red pears were the most vivid reds and orange. I also discovered that the many different red tones, oranges and yellow gave me a real challenge. This, of course, is one reason why I love to paint. You never know exactly how you will approach a subject, but bringing the subject to life is thrilling!
Luscious warm colours in this. I think pears in paintings interesting because there always looks like there is story in it. One pear seems to by lying down..the one next to it looks like its quite concerned while the one on the left seems quite perplexed!
