Crosstown Arts "in-form" Exhibit

Honored to participate in Crosstown Arts "in-form" Exhibit, opening Friday, February 26 at 6:00 pm. This exhibit showcases Memphis area artists/instructors. 

Crosstown Arts is a contemporary arts organization dedicated to further cultivating the creative community in Memphis.

We provide resources and create opportunities and experiences to inspire, support, and connect a diverse range of creative people, projects, and audiences.

The spaces and programs we manage integrate varying components of exhibition, performance, production, education, and retail.  We welcome anyone in the community to join any of our events or projects, regardless of prior experience or expertise with creative interests.

Honor To Be Invited

What a great way to start 2015 at Judy Joy Nocifora Studio!

I have truly been honored with an invitation to show my paintings at the Customs House Museum's Winter Art Exhibit:  Right Before My Eyes: A Still LIfe Invitational. Clarksville, TN.   The show will be at the Museum from January 8 - March 1, 2015.  There are twelve other very fine artists in the show… Jason Saunders and Camille Engle from Nashville, TN to name a few.  This exhibit is sponsored by Nashville Arts Magazine.  

If you are in the Clarksville, TN area, I hope you will stop in to see this exhibit.

Fabulous Teacher… Jim Richards in Nashville at Warehouse 521!

A really talented group of artists gathered at Warehouse 521 in Nashville, TN for a workshop with the fabulous painter and teacher Jim Richards of Atlanta, GA.  Thank you Jeanie Smith for organizing the workshop.  Thank you, Jim Richards, for your inspiration, incredible demos and guidance and instruction at the easel.  We are all indeed lucky to have had this opportunity to study with you!

Quang Ho - Amazing!

This photo captures the spirit of Quang Ho so well.

I had the most incredible experience and opportunity this past week, November 15, 16, and 17, 2012 to study with Master Artist of Denver, Colorado, Quang Ho.  I was part of a fun group of artist painting the beautiful fall landscapes in and around Nashville, TN, Leiper's Fork and Franklin, TN. 

Thank you, Quang Ho, for sharing your genius and your passion with us these past few days.  It was all awesome!
