September's Workshop at Memphis Botanic Garden Painting Children

"Painting Children" was great fun with this hard working group of painters. So impressed with their progress in our two days together. I will offer this workshop again in 2017 so watch for notices on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Judy-Joy-Nocifora-Studio-Fine-Art-201490543210552/) and in your email if you are on my mailing list.

Painting Children with Judy Nocifora
Simplicity and Expression

Tuesdays and Fridays September 7, 9, 14, and 15
9:00-12:30

If you have always wanted to paint that precious child in your life or just enjoy painting the figure, join Judy Nocifora for ‘Painting Children’. No drawing skills are necessary, but participants will need a basic knowledge of working with oils or acrylics. Instruction will be in oils, but acrylic painters are welcome. Professional artist oil paint is provided. Class size is limited, please register early. This is not a portrait class as this workshop will emphasize form, lighting and expression. The goal is to simplify… capturing the essence, not the details. Participants will work from photos, or photos on a computer, iPad or tablet.

There will be demos each day and a lot of personal instruction. Prepayment due by August 31st. 901-636-4128 for supply list, more information, or to register.
