I really like painting bird nests and bird eggs. It has a spiritual quality for me. It speaks to me of life, the comforts of life that we have been given, etc. The painting itself is fun... loose and free. I might say, "free as a bird!"

    Love your bird nest paintings and agree they are just somehow special. Your colors in this are beautiful. It just looks like it was fun and joyful to paint. Eggceptional! :)

    New life! Yes, we have been watching a little nest of barn swallows hatch, grow, take flight. So many metaphors here. Beautiful work.
