"Yellow Pitcher & Grapes"

5" x 7" oil on archival Gessobord

This was my mother's yellow, iridescent cream pitcher. This is a particular style of china. I have a few other pieces of china in this genre, but I do not remember the style name. I will have to do some research and see what I can find. If anyone knows the name, please post a comment. I like the result of this painting. There were so many colors jumping out at me and I wasn't sure how this would look finished. I might try to paint it again and try a different technique...just for fun!
